Questions
Is BeMainStar a Reface clone?
No. Reface is built around its own collection and many photo tools. BeMainStar only does one thing: recast a video you already have, for up to 4 people.
Which is cheaper?
It depends on how you use them, and prices change by country, so we do not compare totals. BeMainStar's plans are listed on this page; check Reface's current prices in the App Store.
Can I try it for free?
No. BeMainStar needs a subscription before your first video. We would rather say that up front. A subscription is needed to start: Weekly is $4.99 with 5 Stars each week, Yearly is $89.99 with 8 Stars each month. 1 Star is 1 second of video, and Star packs of 5, 12 or 25 Stars top you up. Prices vary by country. If a video fails, your Stars come back.
What happens to my selfie and my clip?
They are uploaded only to make your video and deleted as soon as it is done, whether it worked or failed. Finished videos stay on your phone. We keep no copy.
