The most complete app here. Its listing mentions more than 8,000 templates, your own video as a source, several characters in one video, lip-sync and a live webcam mode. The free daily generations make it the safest first try.
2. BeMainStar
Narrower and built for one thing: the dance clip you already have, with you, or you and three friends, as the dancers. The stage, camera and sound stay. 1 Star is 1 second, the cost is shown before you start, and failed videos refund the Stars. No watermark. The catch: there is no free try. A subscription is needed to start: Weekly is $4.99 with 5 Stars each week, Yearly is $89.99 with 8 Stars each month. 1 Star is 1 second of video, and Star packs of 5, 12 or 25 Stars top you up. Prices vary by country. If a video fails, your Stars come back.
3. Dance AI
Starts from a photo, not a video: you pick a dance style from its library and it animates the photo. Good when you have no clip, or want a pet or a kid to dance. Its listing also mentions text to video and effects.
4. Pose
A trend and filter app with a very large user base. Its listing leads with baby dancing, sway dance and stadium cam effects from one photo. Good for fast, silly trends rather than recreating a specific clip.
